Insurance and SIU field investigations
Global Intelligence Bureau supports insurance carriers, third-party administrators, claims teams and defense counsel with fact-finding in New York, New Jersey and Florida. We start with the question the file needs answered, then recommend fieldwork and reporting that fit the assignment.
What we can investigate
- Surveillance and activity checks to document observable conduct.
- Scene inspections, measurements, lighting observations and neighborhood canvasses.
- Witness and insured interviews, including recorded statements when authorized.
- Background research, locates and other lawful records inquiries relevant to the claim.
Depending on the matter, the objective may be to clarify an accident account, assess a reported limitation, locate a witness or identify an available video source. The field plan is tailored to the known facts and the client’s instructions.
Reporting for claims decisions
Our reports distinguish investigator observations from source statements and research findings. We document dates, times, locations, relevant photographs or video, and meaningful limitations. When a canvass or surveillance produces no positive result, we report that clearly rather than imply a conclusion the evidence does not support.
Where we work
Our core field areas include New York City, Long Island and Westchester; Northern and Central New Jersey; and Orlando and Central Florida. We arrange assignments elsewhere in our licensed states according to scope and availability. Multi-state matters can be coordinated with appropriately qualified local resources.
