Global Intelligence Bureau assists defense attorneys and, when appropriate, other authorized clients with independent fact-finding. An investigator can help develop leads, interview witnesses and document evidence while counsel directs the legal strategy. We work in New York, New Jersey and Florida, with other jurisdictions reviewed case by case.
How we support counsel
- Locate and interview witnesses, with attributed statements and accurate notes.
- Visit scenes to document conditions, sightlines, distances and potential evidence sources.
- Review timelines, records and open-source information for investigative leads.
- Conduct lawful surveillance or background inquiries when relevant to the defense.
Early case review helps identify time-sensitive video, witness recollections and physical conditions that may change. We document what can be verified and flag discrepancies or missing information for counsel to assess.
Clear, defensible reporting
Reports separate direct observations, witness accounts and records findings. We preserve the context of photographs and other materials and avoid drawing legal conclusions from incomplete facts. Scope, confidentiality and evidence handling are discussed at intake.
