Support insurance recovery assessment
Subrogation asset investigations help insurers and counsel evaluate recovery leads involving an individual or business. We identify relevant ownership and entity information to support the client’s assessment of further action.
Assignment scope
- Subject and entity identification
- Public property and corporate record research
- Relevant filings and corroboration of recovery leads
Findings and practical limits
Findings identify source dates, possible ownership interests and unresolved associations. We do not promise a recovery or treat an identified asset as automatically available for collection. Counsel assesses enforceability and next steps.
Connect research to the recovery decision
Provide the responsible party’s identifiers, the loss background, relevant business names and the recovery question. Research can focus on property and business leads linked to the correct person or entity. Existing investigation results and available claim documents help prevent confusion between similarly named parties or unrelated ownership records.
Separate an asset lead from recovery potential
Ownership references may require further verification and may not establish value, equity or collectibility. Findings should identify the source, date and relationship to the subject. The report supports counsel or the claims team in deciding whether additional recovery work is justified; it does not determine liability, impose a lien or guarantee collection.
